How long does an InBody scan take?
The test itself takes around 15 seconds. Allow a few minutes for check-in, the scan and your result sheet.
Is it painful or invasive?
No. You stand on the device, hold the hand electrodes and follow the on-screen prompts.
What does the scan measure?
It can show body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, body-water measures, mineral mass, segmental lean analysis, visceral-fat level, BMR and other result-sheet measures.
Is it the same as a DEXA scan?
No. They are different technologies. InBody is a convenient, portable body-composition scan. DEXA may be used for other purposes, including clinical bone-density assessment.
Can you scan our workplace, gym or club?
Yes. We can discuss a mobile scan day, staffed event or suitable equipment-hire format based on your group, location and goals.
